Growth Hub Event with Togather Founder Hugo Campbell
Our second founder story event was unsurprisingly another astounding success! This time, we brought in none other than Hugo Campbell, the founder of Togather, to speak to other e-commerce founders.
We were thrilled to see new faces alongside returning ones from the last event, which was fantastic to see as it shows that the Growth Hub’s community-focused concept is really working. We aim to build a strong network for founders where they can access much more than just funding.
Hugo Campbell hadn’t spoken at a founder-focused event like this before, as he’s typically pitching Togather to investors. Our attendees genuinely appreciated his transparency and honesty while discussing his entrepreneurial journey – sharing his own to dos and what not to do.
Just to provide a bit of background on Togather, it is the leading events booking platform, for all types of events (e.g. corporate, private parties or weddings. Togather makes it their mission to curate these events through supporting local food and drink suppliers, venues, bars, staffing agencies, photographers and more, now having around 3,500 suppliers on the platform.
During his talk at Juice, he spoke heavily on his investment journey and how he managed to raise over £20M in investment from Angel Investors, including Sam Thompson, Sarah Willingham and Magnus Rausing - and from VCs - including Ascension, Fuel Ventures and untitled. Everyone loved it!
Bring on the next Growth Hub event on December 11th. Register here
